Hazel is a bold and beautiful brindle baby, who is constantly tripping over her huge feet, and fishtails every time she takes a corner at a run. She loves to wrestle and is a little more confident than her brother, but will definitely need to hide in someone's skirts if another dog growls at her or corrects her in any way. Hazel is just starting to discover that lying down in the kitchen with the other dogs can be a cool thing to do, and is also learning a little about chasing balls in the yard. She will find every hidey hole on your property and find a way into it, but her puppy recall skills are really coming along, and she's easy to redirect. Her foster mom doesn't know how she got that scrape on her forehead, but no doubt it resulted from running toward something at full speed and misjudging her own size in relation to it. Hazel is huge, clumsy and curious. Her favorite activities are biting your legs as you walk to the coffee maker at 5:30 a.m., stealing your laundry from the basket then bolting out the dog door, and pouncing on her canine brother.

This dog is good with other dogs, cats, and children. This puppy is working on kennel training, housebreaking, and house etiquette. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.

Sign Adoption Contract
The animal's medical records will also be released at this time. A one-week trial period is included with all our adoptions.

Pay Fee
This includes up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter, 4DX testing (for dogs), FeLV/FIV (for cats), and microchip.
