Meet Gitter, a one year old sweetheart who came into our care as a stray alongside his sister, Glitter. Not to our surprise, these two were never reclaimed. Sadly this happens over and over here in South Mississippi. Gitter is quite smaller than his sister and a tad underweight at just under 30lbs. He's a gentle, loving boy who walks well on a leash and is eager to find his forever home. Gitter is ready to fill your life with joy and love, and he deserves to be pampered and cherished as a beloved member of your family. Gitter and Glitter would be thrilled to stay together, but if that's not possible we think they'll adjust to new families so long as they're a treasured member of the family and get lots of your attention. Gitter has likely never had the cozy, cared-for life he deserves, but with your love and attention, that can change. Don’t let this sweet boy be overlooked—give him the chance to experience the warm, loving home he’s always dreamed of.

Adopting animals from the shelter is easy. Adoption fees are:
$50 for all animals (covers spaying or neutering)
All adopted animals are provided with:
1. A certificate of examination from the Jackson County Veterinary Society (entitles adoptee to a free health exam)
2, Initial vaccinations
3. Preventative worming
4. Spaying and Neutering (depending on age of animal)
5. A pet name tag from Two Dogs Dancing
A microchip for your new friend will be included for an additional $15.
