My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Keep Kitt and Mena Together - Help fulfill a dying man's wish

This is Kitt and Mena's story, as told by their loving owner, who has one last wish: to keep his beloved dogs together in a home where they can continue to thrive as a team.

From the Owner:
"I adopted Kitt, and he has given me so much I can’t explain. He’s always handled my lack of energy with grace, just like he does everything else in life.

I adopted Mena for him (and me), feeling that he needed a companion to run and play with. Mena is an absolute joy, and they’ve become inseparable. She joined our family in November 2022, and together they make a perfect pair.

They leash as a unit and work with me well, like a true team. They’re athletic, jovial, and I believe they would excel in obstacle sports. They have a large vocabulary, respond to human language, whistles, and hand signals, and they even differentiate between right and left. I’ve had them for two years now, and I’m confident that they will adapt to new commands and a new home easily.

They are incredibly empathetic and always help me if I fall. Kitt is 6 years old, and Mena is 3. They are my world, but it’s becoming harder for me to take care of them as my health declines. They deserve someone who has the energy and passion for life’s adventures—someone who can give them the life they love.

When I die, they will be heartbroken. I hope they don’t have to suffer the added heartbreak of being separated.
