My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CHARLEY is a playful little guy. He had a rough beginning but shelter staff really cared about him .He came to us from orange county. He is with a foster who has gained his trust and taught him that he is safe now and will be fed and cared for. He plays with Jolee another small dog.

no apartments, or electric fences. He needs a fenced yard so he can run around and have fun.

email for an application Mdcctennis@aol.com we do a trial foster to adopt period so everyone is happy. Charley is neutered. hw neg vaccinated and chipped.

He is ready for his home. and looking for YOU. someone home part of the time would be great.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We have an application to be filled out and upon approval within 2 days we have you meet the dog. Then we arrange a foster/trial adoption week. We also like to schedule a home visit before the final contracts . Our adoption fee ranges from a low $125-to a high of $350 . Most average $225 to cover the cost of our vetting.

Go meet their pets

We set up a meeting for you to meet the dog at our home where the dog is most comfortable and in his natural surroundings. . We have fosters in Cary, Morrisville and Charlotte. They are wonderful people who help save these lives.

More about this rescue

We are a small group who try to save dogs off death row in the south. We pull them mostly from Ga, SC, and NC. Some are from Tn and KY or wherever we can help them.
So many dogs are killed in gas chambers in the South and we have to do whatever we can to help these poor animals who by no fault of their own are homeless. We are all volunteers and always need foster homes for any time you have available and donations to help pay our vetting bills. Heartworm treatment can be very expensive . We are so appreciative of any help and so are the pups.
