Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Darren D. was found living outside in the summer, and had already spent a few winters outside during which he had sadly lost parts of both ears to frostbite.
He was quite unsure about people when he was trapped, but has become a pretty happy guy who very much enjoys his warm house and regular meals.
Darren has adjusted well to living with other cats, but would probably be happy being an only cat. He is becoming more and more friendly with people and will come to get pets and treats, and tolerates being cuddled for brief periods.
Darren is very cute and deserves a good comfortable home after the stress of surviving outside. He has a very cute voice for such a big guy, and we think he will be a great friend for his new family.

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
