Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Winter is a simple girl. She has access to all the toys and beds, but all she wants to do is play with a shoelace (feather on a stick is waaay too fancy for her), shred her box and sleep in the bookcase.
She was caught with her mom and two brothers. They had been on their own for a long time and did not trust people. They have all come a long way. Winter is still very wary of people but is interested in watching. Learning from the resident cats how nice it is to be a snuggly and safe people cat.
She is food and play motivated and does not hold a grudge. If you have to do something rude, say trim her nails, it is easy to distract her afterwards.
She loves other cats and bird watching. Likes head and chin scratches, but is still timid and is easiest approached when she is on a cat condo or other high place so she so she doesn’t feel cornered.
She will need a quieter home, preferably with other feline friends. She will take time to settle in. She will need a room to be designated as her safe place, to retreat to when it gets scary while she is learning her new home.

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
