My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nova was rescued when 7 lbs and 5 mos old. She had been starved.. She was so thin and not growing. I had to take her in. she has been the sweetest girl and plays with our poodle . sleeps well at night and eats every chance she can. she is about 26 lbs now and still growing . We think she will be about 42 lbs the largest. That is just a guess. she loves to play and also to cuddle.
We have fallen in love with her. Everyone that meets her does. Those big ears stick up and she is precious Nova has a beautiful shiny black coat with a tiny white spot on her chest.
she will be spayed on 8/27, is chipped and vaccinated..
email for an application Mdcctennis@aol.com

She needs a fenced yard, no kids under 6, no apartments or electric fences, Would love a friend but also needs a collection of stuffies. They are her pals.

We do a foster to adopt period so you can be sure. One look at those beautiful eyes and she will be yours.

Go meet their pets

We set up a meeting for you to meet the dog at our home where the dog is most comfortable and in his natural surroundings. . We have fosters in Cary, Morrisville and Charlotte. They are wonderful people who help save these lives.

More about this rescue

We are a small group who try to save dogs off death row in the south. We pull them mostly from Ga, SC, and NC. Some are from Tn and KY or wherever we can help them.
So many dogs are killed in gas chambers in the South and we have to do whatever we can to help these poor animals who by no fault of their own are homeless. We are all volunteers and always need foster homes for any time you have available and donations to help pay our vetting bills. Heartworm treatment can be very expensive . We are so appreciative of any help and so are the pups.
