Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Larry and Otto
PLEASE NOTE: ARRF does not have a shelter and these pups are being fostered in Las Vegas, NV. Contact their foster, Kristi, at (805) 539-5757.
Larry and his brother Otto are two-year-old neutered male German Shepherds. They are black and tan and all of their vaccinations are up to date.
They came from the Apple Valley Shelter near Los Angeles where they were taken after being found as strays. They were placed on the euthanasia list and had just hours to live when taken in by their foster. They are very bonded to each other and would like to be adopted together. When faced with new situations, Otto looks to his brother for security, but once they both feel secure, they get excited and are happy and curious. They are very sweet boys.
Both are interested in other dogs and are not aggressive. They would love a fenced-in yard in which to play. Their energy levels are low to medium. Larry and Otto are learning commands and obey very well when told no. They are crate-trained, house-trained, leash-trained, and love their walks. They are still learning about toys, but love to play together.
Having never known human kindness, they were terrified when taken to the home of their foster. It took several hours to venture from crates into the house. Now, after four weeks of being in their foster home, they are transformed! They come and ask for attention, roll over for belly rubs, and have shown that they are very smart. They just need someone with patience who will gain their trust and teach them how to be the best dogs they can be. They have blossomed after being shown love and learning about the security of a loving home. They are ready for their forever home and need to be adopted together.
To meet these sweet boys or learn more about them, contact their foster, Kristi by calling (805) 539-5757. They are being fostered in Las Vegas, NV.
