My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This brindle beauty is in search of a family to revolve her world around. Lola Jean loves hard and seeks affection from her humans. She has been working hard on basic obedience and leash walking and is attending training classes with her foster mom. Lola does best with slow intros to other dogs, but once she's comfortable, she enjoys playing with dogs that match her energy level. She loves to be outside playing fetch, tug of war, and splashing in her kiddie pool. She is takes treats very gently, is potty trained, and crate trained.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We find loving, responsible, committed permanent homes. An in-depth adoption process is used. This includes taking considerable care in finding perfect matches and educating potential adopters about the responsibilities of bringing a dog, especially that particular dog, into their life. Applications may take several days to process and you may not hear from a UU Board member for up to a few weeks at most.

More about this rescue

Unforgettable Underdogs Dog Rescue is a volunteer run non-profit and no-kill dog rescue serving Northeast Wisconsin. We are dedicated to rescuing the underdogs, those who have found themselves homeless. We strive to help dogs in public high-kill shelters, abandoned or dogs being abused or neglected.

Dogs we care for are spayed or neutered, treated for any medical needs they have, and placed into loving foster homes until they find their permanent home. We aim to help dogs in need without discriminating against age or breed as space in foster homes permit. As our finances allow, we aim to take on the most underdog of the cases and help dogs in the most need.
