My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Purrs, my name is Cava and I'm ready to find my forever family! I was abandoned with my 3 babies and did the best I could to care for them all alone. Thankfully, I was rescued, and my little family and I were taken into foster care.

Now that my kittens are grown up, I'm ready to find my very own special person. Even though I'm an adult, I'm still a kitten at heart and love to play! I make friends with other cats quickly and I love jumping after string toys or going crazy for a laser light. I'm also extremely docile and would do well in almost any home. As long as you're giving me love and attention, I'm a happy girl!

RESCUE: Found underneath a car with my 3 very young kittens, I was fortunate to be brought into Animal Rescue Connections to wean my babies and learn to be a fun-loving kitty again.

Please complete an online application and email us. Adoptions are by appointment on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 5-6:30 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays, 1-4:30 pm.

Like the animals that come our way, Animal Rescue Connections (ARC) may be small but we make a big difference in people’s and animals’ lives. Primarily serving Bulverde, Comal County, and Northern San Antonio, ARC is an all-foster based organization with volunteers who are passionate about our adoption, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and helpline programs.

Located in Bulverde TX, we are an all-foster organization, caring for our rescued animals in our own homes. Because we are not a shelter, we cannot take in all the animals we get called about, but we can find the "connections" you need to help you with your rescued, lost or found animal.
