Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Colin is a handsome tabby boy with a calm demeanor and a heart full of love. While he might be a tad reserved, don’t let that fool you—Colin has a gentle soul that shines brightly once he feels at home. He’s the kind of cat who appreciates the simple pleasures: a cozy spot by the window, a soft blanket, and a quiet moment with his favorite person. Though he may take a little time to warm up, once he does, Colin’s loyalty and affection are unmatched. If you’re looking for a companion who values peace and quiet as much as you do, Colin might just be the perfect fit for your home. Adopt Colin and discover the joys of a gentle, loving friend.
He is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens.
When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
