She’s friendly and cuddly and loves to be with her people constantly. An affectional girl, Mellow will meander over to her people to search out cuddles. Hopefully, she won’t make you late for work as she lounges in bed looking for morning cuddles. She enjoys being pet and will gently nudge the closest human looking for them. Mellow is four years old and doesn’t mind if you pick her up for a snuggle, purring the entire time! A cat tree by the window is her favourite place to unwind from her busy day of mellowing. Mellow enjoys chilling with her people and will lie down beside them, just to be near and watch everything going on. When Mellow isn’t busy chillaxing, you may find her playing with her toys, but she’s just as happy hanging out with her people doing nothing. When it’s mealtime, Mellow will casually stroll into the kitchen for food and treats because she does love both! Mellow only wants to be friends with you and not other cats. Her ideal home will be with someone home often so that she always has someone to hang with. She will make a great work-from-home buddy!
Mellow was surrendered to us with her five-day-old kittens. Sadly, her owners must have let her roam outside as this wasn’t her first litter. Mellow was a great mom to her babies, but now it’s her turn to find her home at last.

Meet & greets are either in person with the foster and cat or virtual, at the discretion of the foster.

We are currently in the adoption centre at PetSmart Etobicoke, where we have a limited number of cats and kittens. All of our available cats can be viewed on our website.

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.
We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.
We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
