**Buzz and Woody are bonded so they MUST be adopted TOGETHER**
Buzz and his brother Woody spent their first six weeks of life living in attic insulation with zero human contact. It has taken a lot of time and patience to earn Buzz's trust - and his foster family is still working with him on his confidence - but he's grown into a healthy, content little boy and we're incredibly proud of him!
Buzz is a big boy for his age and has always reminded his foster mom of a little lion cub. He is friendly but very shy. He does not like to be picked up or carried, and he gets easily overstimulated when you pet him. The way to Buzz’s heart is food and treats. He LOVES food and will try to eat at least a bite from every other cat's portion before eating his own. He likes wet kitten food and dry kibble, and pretty much any kind of treat. He goes a little nuts for Inaba Churu squeezy treats!
Buzz likes the play tunnel, catnip toys, and wrestling with his brother Woody. He also likes to help you fold the laundry! He likes to sleep on the cat tree and on his foster mom's bed. Buzz gets along great with the other cats and kittens and two small dogs in his foster home. Due to his shyness, Buzz needs to be in a home with older kids or no kids. His foster mom loves seeing how far he's come from the terrified, sickly, scrawny kitten he was when he first arrived in his foster home. He has grown into a healthy, happy boy who adores his brother! Buzz and Woody are bonded so they must be be adopted together.

We have an adoption application to learn a bit about the home our cats will be going to and the family's motivation for adoption and expectations about pet ownership. We also have an adoption contract, which includes a no declawing and indoor-only clause along with a vet promissory note that ensures you will continue with the medical care and spay/neuter if needed.
We DO NOT do any out of state adoptions except on the NC border on a case-by-case basis.
We require a donation of $120 for adoption of unaltered kittens with a PTV Contract. All kittens receive vaccine series and wormings as well as medical treatment as needed. The adopter is responsible for obtaining their rabies vaccine and spay/neuter if the kitten is not of age at the time of adoption. We can provide resources for low cost clinics that offer these services.
We ask a donation of $25 to adopt Career/barn cats.
We require a donation of at least $140 for adoption of Spayed/neutered cat.
Bonded pairs adoption donation is $200.
Sometimes we require rental checks or home inspections. We always have a Meet n Greet to make sure everyone gets along. We encourage bringing the whole family!

More about this rescue
Our mission is to improve the lives of displaced cats and reduce feral cat population in Hampton Roads by socializing outdoor-born and feral kittens for adoption into loving forever homes. We are a VDACS registered 501c3 nonprofit, founded in 2014 with over 60 foster homes.
Our heart is in TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return of ferals), where cats are fixed, vaccinated, ear tipped, and allowed to live out their lives without reproducing. We are advocates for advancing legal and social acceptance of TNR in Hampton Roads. Our unique feral kitten socialization program has a 90% success rate in socializing feral-born kittens to become loving, in-home pets.
We are always seeking fosters, volunteers, transporters, and trappers to join our team!
We also appreciate donations! Find our most needed items
