Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bandit!
A spirited one-year-old American Pitbull Terrier/Saint Bernard mix from Weston, CT, whose essence is a vibrant burst of joy wrapped in a luxuriously white coat with charming brown patches!
Bandit, weighing in at a robust ninety-five pounds, is the epitome of a "Velcro dog." Wherever you go, he goes! Cooking dinner? He’s in the kitchen. Bathroom break? He’s right there. Bedtime? He’s ready to snuggle up with you! This affectionate companion is not only housebroken but also crate trained. He’s quite the smart pup, having quickly adapted to an electric fence and mastered basic commands like sit, stay, come, and lay down.
Bandit thrives on companionship and is happiest when he’s by your side. His playful nature makes him a goofball who loves to play, play, play! A three-mile daily walk around the neighborhood is his idea of a great time, and he thoroughly enjoys these outings. Despite his size, he plays well with his big sister, often letting her win during their playful wrestling matches. His love for water is a testament to his Saint Bernard lineage; he jumps into lakes with gusto and has a blast in his doggy pool, submerging his face to retrieve toys or take a drink.
While Bandit is incredibly friendly and energetic, he would do best in a home without children. His ideal family would be someone experienced with large breeds, someone who can provide the time, patience, and boundaries he needs to become his best self. Bandit does have leash aggression and needs to meet other dogs off-leash to ensure a friendly interaction. He’s selective about his canine friends but gets along well with some.
Bandit is an excellent traveler and loves car rides! He can handle being left alone for short periods without any fuss. His adaptable nature means he can easily go with the flow, whether it’s spending time outside in the yard or lounging next to you while you work.
With vaccinations up to date, neutered, microchipped, and no known health issues, Bandit is ready to bring joy and companionship to a new loving home! Are you ready to welcome this giant goofball into your life and enjoy countless adventures together?
