Calling all little dog lovers! Jack is a sweet 10-year-old 8 pound chihuahua mix with plenty of energy to spare. Don’t let his age fool you—he loves to play with any dog that’s up for it, from a Great Pyrenees to a fellow chi mix; showing just how great he is with dogs of all sizes. Jack was surrendered to a shelter along with 19 other animals and is a little shy around people. He is a laid-back and gentle soul who prefers to keep his personal space. While he is not a fan of being touched, he does remain calm and easy-going when handled. Jack may not seek out cuddles, but his peaceful nature makes him a wonderful companion for someone who respects his boundaries. With time and patience he will warm up, but he is perfectly content just being near you. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, mellow dog, Jack could be the perfect match!
