Tika Biography
Tika is an indoor/outdoor feline who will add a warm presence to your life. She’s a tortoise shell with striking
coloration, smart, personable and affectionate. Content to just be, whether it’s watching the world outside or close
by you inside. At night, she’ll happily snuggle up next to you or curl up on her indoor cat bed.
This girl has many special qualities ~ a beautiful purr and soft meows, chirps and thrills, good manners, and a
talented huntress (for those who want to keep the rodents at bay and squirrels away from the feeder). She’s been
taught to leave the birds and other critters alone.
The best fit for her is a low key, calm/stable environment, more rural than residential, with one or two people who
will love her and look after her, provide a safe place where she can enjoy the simple pleasures ~ exploring the yard,
hunting mice, or taking a long nap. For her safety as she adjusts to her new life, a temporary or permanent patio
enclosure would be ideal. She is timid around strangers, but will gradually adjust to her new surroundings.
Tika will do best on her own. Whether she would take to another cat being introduced to her environment is an
unknown. Farm animals are fine.
Tika showed up at my back door along with her Mama and brother when very young. Three years old, she is the
only survivor, and has become accustomed to the domesticated life. She’s fully vetted ~ spayed, microchipped,
vaccinated. Her foster mom can’t keep her long term. This sweet gal needs her forever home!
