Jaerom is our gentle 7-year-old soul, weighing 13 lbs, who was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Gangneung, South Korea.
Despite his tough start, he is now becoming the sweet dog he was always meant to be.
Our mission here at Korean K9 Rescue is for all dogs to live happy and free. We rehabilitate dogs from all circumstances at our Rescue Center in Bundang, South Korea, while learning their personalities and what home would best suit them for the future. Only when they’re ready, they make the voyage to NYC for their new life, starting with their foster family.
Jaerom enjoys outdoor walks and has started walking confidently on the leash, coming out of his shell more each day. While still figuring out what toys are, he’s mastered the "treat game" and gets excited chasing treats around the floor. Jaerom loves to stretch out with his favorite bully stick and often drifts into sleep while sitting or standing, only lying down at the last moment. He’s calm, kind, and ready to find a forever home where he can continue to grow in confidence and love.
