Maize is living in a foster home in Madison, Wisconsin.

Maize is approximately 2 years old and 8 pounds. She is crate trained. She will sleep and eat in her crate.

Maize gets along with all the other dogs in her foster home. She is playful with the other pups and just goes with the flow. We haven't seen her around cats, so we aren't sure how she feels about them.

When she first arrived at her foster home in Texas, she had 3 puppies. She was rather protective of them but she sweetened up once she knew her mommy role was over. She’s a brand new dog.

Maize would make an amazing companion. She is pretty laid back. She gets excited when her foster parent comes home and when it’s meal time. Her foster mom LOVES her and you will too!

Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
