Pulled from TAF shelter

Tiny little Kiwi is sweet, timid, and such a well behaved girl. She is generally quiet and keeps to herself, but she loves to join you on the couch for a snuggle and she does do little zoomies when we get home. She also enjoys car rides and she’s a great eater. Not to mention she is such a fighter and pulled through her hospitalization at the end of June. She had a very overdue dental and being under anesthesia she went into a pulmonary hypertension crisis. She is now stable and on one medication which she takes with ease! Dr. Forney gives her the thumbs up to start her search for her forever home.

She does take a bit of time to warm up and she still gets nervous when we go to pick her up or if there is a loud noise. She doesn’t mind being on a leash but she walks very slowly so she’s definitely not used to it. She gets along with her four fur housemates, both large and small. She does well in a kennel, but can jump over short enclosures.

Overall, she is a sweetheart who deserves someone patient and kind to make her feel comfortable and safe. She would likely do better in a home with no young kids or large high energy dogs since she’s so small and easily frightened. But it’s not a deal breaker. Apply to adopt miss Kiwi today! 🥝💚
