Safari was adopted at 4 months old. She is now almost 4 years old and a petite 50 lb girl. She has been living with a pug and goes to doggy day care sometimes. She has lived with children 10 years old and up. She has been to obedience training and loves her people. She can get territorial in the home and tries to herd people. She is a nervous girl at times, so patience will be needed to help her acclimate to a new environment.
Cats and small critters unknown.

Additional Adoption Information
For more information and to see when this dog will be attending an Adoption Day, please see our Dogs page on our main website. (https://www.gcgsr.org/adopt_info.html) We operate within a reasonable driving distance from the Greater Sacramento area, the Central Valley down to Merced, and Lake Tahoe. A reasonable driving distance is determined by where one of our volunteers is willing to drive within our areas of service. That means we don't adopt out of our area, to Southern California, or out of state.
Puppy Requirements
We have special Requirements for Adopting a Puppy and a separate Puppy Questionnaire that must be completed on puppies. Please see our Requirements for Adopting a Puppy (https://www.gcgsr.org/puppies.html) email us at info@gcgsr.org for more information.
