My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I’m Cookie Crumbl, the feline treat who’s as sweet as my name suggests! I’m great with kids, dogs, other cats—you name it, I’m everyone’s favorite snack-sized buddy. My foster brother and I are the purrfect dynamic duo, always up to some fun and games. If there’s something lying on the floor, you can bet I’ll knock it around like it’s my new favorite toy. I’ve got energy to spare and a playful spirit that keeps everyone on their toes! Now, don’t get me wrong—I enjoy a good lap snuggle and a nice petting session every now and then. But truth be told, I’m more likely to be found hanging with the dogs than curling up with the humans. They’re my pack, my paw-some pals, and I wouldn’t trade them for all the catnip in the world. So, if you’re looking for a kitty who’s sweet as sugar, playful as a puppy, and always ready to add a little crumble of joy to your day, I’m your guy! Just be prepared for a little mischief, a lot of fun, and maybe a few knocked-over knickknacks along the way.

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
