Meet Brutus, a 4-year-old St. Bernard with a heart as big as his size. This handsome, neutered boy is a muscular fellow who is well-mannered in the home and loves nothing more than being loved. Brutus enjoys playing with tennis balls, rope toys, and squeaky toys, and he knows commands like sit, shake, and lay down. He likes going for walks; however, he also likes to go where he likes to go! Meaning he`s a strong fellow who has been allowed to do what he likes. He means well; he just needs positive guidance and is smart! He is a medium-active dog who likes swimming, car rides, and cuddling on the couch.
If you`re interested in giving Brutus a forever home, please fill out an adoption interest form and make an appointment to meet him. Don`t forget to bring your whole family and any dogs you have to ensure a successful meet and greet. Let`s make Brutus a part of your loving community and give him the care and compassion he deserves. Adopt Brutus today!
Good news! Brutus has been sponsored for his adoption fee by Kenny’s Corner Store in Marquette. His adoption is $0.

We are a local non-profit organization run and staffed by your neighbors. We make decisions on caring for homeless, unwanted, abandoned and abused domestic animals based on what we believe is best for them. We have no affiliation with any larger group and we receive no funding from any larger group that might influence our decisions or actions.
We advocate only for the animals in our care to help them find their forever home with you.
UPAWS does not receive operating funds from any governmental agency. We rely on donations from our neighbors and friends to make our efforts possible. We save consistently 98% of the animals who come to us – which is an award-winning success story. We want to educate everyone on proper animal care so there soon won’t be the three percent who come to us too sick or wounded to be saved. It’s your support that makes this dream possible.
