My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lily is our 2-year old Tortiseshell Calico and Daisy is her 8-month old daughter.

They do fine together and could be rehomed together, but we don't necessarily think they are "bonded" needing to go together. Daisy is more attached to Lily than the other way around.

Lily is the super-sweet mom cat and greets us at the door when we leave and when we come home. She enjoys sitting next to you on the couch getting pets. She doesn't love to be picked up but will cuddle on her terms. Lily is great with kids to the point of being very social during a birthday party with a group of 7-year olds.

As a kitten, Daisy is a bit more rambunctious and curious. She has an infectious purr. She loves to play and she and Lily play well together, though momma sometimes needs her space and lets her know. As a kitten Daisy cuddled with anyone. As she has aged, she has a much stronger bond with females.

If they are rehomed together, we will send them along with a litterbox, cat tree, scratching post, toys, and any remaining food.  Indoor only home.  Rehoming fee is $50 each.

Additional adoption info

Adoptable cats and kittens are shown on our website with detailed profiles and pictures. To help our potential adopters learn more about the cat(s), we encourage them to first contact and discuss with the foster family if it might be a good fit. Potential adopters must submit an adoption application for review and evaluation.

We require that adopted cats be mainly indoor cats and no declawing is allowed. Adopters must be over 21 years old and sign a contract that lists out his/her responsibility as the cat's owner.

More about this rescue

Cat's Cradle Rescue keeps cats out of shelters by offering an alternative to a cage - we are a no-kill FOSTER-HOME BASED rescue group that welcomes cats to our home environments as they await adoption.

Why Foster Care? Does your new kitty like children? Does she play with dogs or find other felines too uncomfortable to be around? Does he have consistent litter-box manners? Does he want to cuddle or perhaps his comfort zone is to be more independent. Many life-factors influence cat behavior and while genetics plays a role, we know that human touch, kindness, nurturing and consistency of care are non-negotiable requirements. We provide all of this.
