Meet Mr. Frank!
Frankie is a 10 year old weighing 18 pounds. He is current on all immunizations, neutered, and up to date on his dental work. Don't let his age fool you, this old fart loves his play time and going on walks. Even more so, he loves cuddling up with his human, giving kisses and getting belly rubs in return. Frankie does great with humans of all ages and other dogs! Let's get this old man out of the shelter and into a comfy forever home. Approve Application

Adopters application will either get approved or denied based on the pets needs.

2.
Meet the Pet

Adoption interview and a meet and greet happen at the same time.

3.
Home Check

If meet and greet/ interview go well, we will do a home check to ensure the pet is safe.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once adoption contract is signed and fee is paid, the pet has officially been adopted!

Additional adoption info

Southside Strays adopts dogs out as indoor companions, not as outdoor guard dogs. Most of the pets that come through our door had either been abandoned or spent way too long wandering the streets. It's their turn to enjoy the life of a spoiled bed-hog! We do require home checks before the adoption process is complete to ensure our dogs are going to a safe home.
