My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Simone, a spirited 5-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix with the heart of a champion! Named after the talented Simone Biles, this little athlete is ready to vault, tumble, and Yurchenko double pike into your heart.

Simone has a nervous but curious nature, so once she has gotten over her anxieties about unfamiliar folks, she has a sweet and affectionate side. She loves high-fiving snd snuggling up with her favorite human. She also loves to show off her underbite while begging for her human's snacks. She has not yet met any children and her big bark might frighten very young ones, but we think she'd do well in a house with savvy older kids who understand she might be a little wary of new friends at first.

She's looking for a forever person or family who will give her the grace and time to warm up so she can become the most loyal and loving companion. If you're ready to add a gold-medal-worthy dog to your life, Simone is waiting to meet you!

Additional adoption info

Please visit www.hopeanimals.org/adopt to learn more about our adoption process and to complete an adoption application.

Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter*, microchipping, up-to-date vaccinations, and current heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

*If pet is not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption, a $50.00 credit will be paid to your vet at the time of surgery.

We require a veterinary reference for current pet owners, and pets must be up to date on vaccines and heartworm preventative. We meet potential adopters in their homes and introduce the pets to the family's current pets to see if it is a good match. A copy of our adoption contract can be requested via email.
