My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Suni, a 5-year-old Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix with a heart as big as her namesake, gifted gymnast Suni Lee! This little dynamo may be small, but she's full of love.

Suni is a loyal canine companion who prefers to be attached at the hip to her chosen person. While she may take a hot minute (or more) to warm up, once she knows she's safe and ready, she's more than happy to snuggle up under a blanket with her favorite person and relax. Suni came to our rescue with skin that had seen more than its fair share of fleas, but her skin and coat improve every day and should be back to normal in no time with continued care. We think Suni would be equally happy in a home where she's the center of attention or has a canine (or perhaps feline) BFF. Suni might be a little bit too anxious to share a home with a tiny young human, and would thrive in a home with a trusted adult or two.

If you're looking for a pint-sized pup who enjoys smiling and sleeping, Suni is the perfect match for you. She's ready to flip her way into your heart and become your new best friend!

Additional adoption info

Please visit www.hopeanimals.org/adopt to learn more about our adoption process and to complete an adoption application.

Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter*, microchipping, up-to-date vaccinations, and current heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

*If pet is not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption, a $50.00 credit will be paid to your vet at the time of surgery.

We require a veterinary reference for current pet owners, and pets must be up to date on vaccines and heartworm preventative. We meet potential adopters in their homes and introduce the pets to the family's current pets to see if it is a good match. A copy of our adoption contract can be requested via email.
