Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOSTER TO ADOPT HOME NEEDED! Introducing the phenomenal SNOOPY. Snoopy is a terrier mix, just shy of a year-old, and weighs approximately 18lbs. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Snoopy is house trained and crate trained though he prefers no crate and has not been destructive when left home alone uncrated. Snoopy is very dog friendly and has a sweet spot for children. Snoopy is an affectionate pup that wants to be with his people. He loves walks, is good on leash, and thinks car rides are the best. His absolute favorite thing to do is join you on your adventures and errands. Snoopy came into rescue on June 1st. He was suffering and miserable with a severe case of Demodex mange Snoopy’s skin was crusty and painful with oozing sores. He was a fire-red burning and itchy mess! We were able to quickly address the mange but there was something underlying. Snoopy continued to be itchy and pink so we started to question allergies and he does indeed seem to have some significant food sensitivities. We are working closely with our veterinarian to find the perfect treatment and prevention for Snoopy. His fur has grown in, he’s doing well on a limited diet, and he has started a regimen of prednisone. Here’s the problem, it will be at least 30-days before he finishes this treatment and potentially 60-days until we have a clear treatment plan developed. Every now and again we get an amazing dog that sits in foster care for too long while we wait for a medical situation to resolve. That’s what’s happening with our darling Snoopy. Snoopy deserves a family! Snoopy is an amazing dog that thrives in a home. He is eager to find a family to bond with and call his own. We’ve decided that it’s important to make this connection for Snoopy so we are looking for a foster to adopt situation. What this means is that the perfect family for Snoopy can bring him home now as a foster and the rescue will continue to provide for his medical care and needs while we navigate a diagnosis and treatment plan. Once his vet feels we have everything in order and clears him, the family can then officially adopt Snoopy. If this sounds like something you are interested please go to our website at rescuedogsdream.com and complete an application. Background check, reference and vet checks will be completed prior to meeting.
