Theo J here! I’m in search of love and safety and treats and catnip toys and all your attention. I deserve it too! Not just because I’m a cat, which would be reason enough, but I’m SPECIAL. My human neighbor tried to murder me! Me! I’m a handsome young buff guy minding my own business and this human had the audacity to try to hunt me! Me! Well, let me tell you! Getting shot is not fun, but Theo J is a survivor! And I’m Theo J! Won’t you come pet me? Do you have any catnip? Will you scratch my ears? If you give me all your attention, I promise to do the same. I’m so soft and fluffy. You should absolutely come pet me and then take me home with you. To live inside. Where it’s safe. Additional adoption info

All interested parties must fill out an adoption application and be approved prior to adoption. If a family has currently, or in the recent past had pets then a veterinary reference is required. If not then two personal references are required. Our adoption fees for dogs range from $150-$300. Our adoption fee for cats is free will donation. After an adoption has been approved an adoption contract must be signed.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
