My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BONDED PAIR

VICTORY & FREEDOM

NAME: Victory (f)

BREED: Terrier cross

AGE: 2 years

WEIGHT: 10 pounds

LIKES: cuddling, wrapping in blankets, playing with her daughter- Freedom.

DISLIKES: loud snapping noises ie. bug zapper.

PERSONALITY TRAITS: friendly, playful, sweet, loving.

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: potty trained in her foster home but does not use a dog door.

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: shares a crate with her daughter, Freedom, and is quiet.

EXTRAS/MISC.: Victory is and able bodied, two legged, girl who gets around pretty well by holding up her back end and simply walking on her front feet when inside her foster home. She has a wheelchair for outings and walks. She can't use stairs. She barks when people come in the front door and when other dogs bark. She'll also bark if she wants help getting off the couch, but she can also hop down on her own. She's good with the 7 month old, crawling, kiddo in her foster home, too.

NAME: Freedom

BREED: Terrier cross

AGE: 6 months

WEIGHT: 9 pounds

LIKES: chew toys, playing with friends, treats, running, jumping, wrestling.

DISLIKES: being crated by herself.

PERSONALITY TRAITS: friendly, shy, bouncy, playful, sweet, loving, energetic.

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: A work in progress. She has not figured out how to go out the dog door, yet.

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: crate trained, shares a crate with her momma, Victory.

EXTRAS/MISC.: This energetic girl is a typical terrier type who screeches with excitement when she plays with certain dogs but not when playing with her momma. She will need plenty of toys and exercise to keep her from chewing on inappropriate things. She is also with the 7 month old, crawling, kiddo in her foster home, and likes all people.

Additional adoption info

The process for adoption through our rescue begins with the adoption application. Once accepted, a meet and greet with the dogs is arranged and includes everyone in the family including other pets. If the dog seems like a good fit, he/she is brought to the home where the dog will be living to make sure it is an appropriate home....ie. dog friendly, fenced yard, etc. Finally, an adoption agreement is signed to insure that the adopter understands what is expected of them.

Go meet their pets

All our dogs are in foster homes prior to finding their forever homes. Please contact us if you see a dog you'd like to meet. We also participate in adoption events at local pet stores.
