My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Oreo Blizzard. I am a BRAT which means I am a Boston Rat Terrier Mix. I am a
beautiful girl but no one seems to know how old I am but estimation is 7-9 years old. I love to
eat, run, ride, bark, and cuddle. I love to be outside and play and to sunbathe. I sit on command,
play fetch, and love my squeaky toys. I use training pads very well. I do have to get up at night
to use them occasionally. I sleep in my crate but do not like the door to be shut because I will
cry and bark! (seems she has been left in one up to 12 hours a day previously) I want a home
with a retired person who won’t leave me or crate me. I don’t like cats or big dogs and I have a
jealousy issue with smaller dogs. I have been in at least three homes in my life and I am looking
for my forever home.
I am very active.

The adoption fee is generally based on the dog's age and provides for neutering or spaying, all required shots, heartworm testing (we endorse "the new moxie-doxy" treatment for heart worms).

It is our expectation & a requirement that heartworm preventative be continued as well as any required vet visits after the pet is adopted.

If for some reason a match isn't made the first time around and you are approved, we will keep your application on file for the next opportunity to arise. Our primary goal is to place a dog in the most suitable environment, based on the animal's individual needs and its temperament. The commitment is lifelong and the Boston's interests are always foremost.
