Chester is a neutered, orange and white kitten born on 4/11.

Chester's mom was supposed to be a trap-neuter-release at a feral colony, but the night before her appointment, she gave birth to a litter of 4 kittens! Chester is the most chatty of the bunch, and similar to his brother Gregory, he is very petite in size for his age. This likely means he will still look kittenish into adulthood. Chester likes getting pet, and he is not afraid to tell you! He will meow when he wants attention, food, or just to tell you he is right there. He also has the cutest little streak of orange on his face and nose.

He likes to play with his siblings, in particular Gregory, chase little crinkle mouse toys and chase feathers on a string. He loves getting attention and really likes getting butt scritches. He'll raise his tail real high when you pet him. He loves meal time and meows real loud when you bring out the canned food! He is the most confident of his siblings, and is on track to develop a big personality.

Although he would do best with a sibling or other cat in the home, he would be ok as a solo cat. Chester is on the small side as far as kittens his age go, and would require respectful children if there are any in the household.

More about this rescue

Tailchaser Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill, animal rescue organization based out of the Bay Area, CA, dedicated to rescuing cats and dogs (and sometimes more) from shelters where they are in danger. We believe in removing barriers to adoption and educating pet owners and potential adopters about responsible pet ownership, the importance of spay / neuter, positive behavior training and good nutrition.

We are a foster-home-based organization and we do not have a shelter or physical location that adopters can visit. All of our rescued animals are cared for by volunteer foster families in their homes. This allows us to get to know the animals better, and helps us assess what type of home environment they will do best in.
