My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Tucker & Blue are two of the friendliest cats you will ever meet. They have been so loved & will be greatly missed by their current owner. The cats are being rehomed because the owner is facing health challenges & needs to move to a facility where she cannot bring her cats.

Tucker is the beautiful ginger boy. He is fifteen years old, but is still going strong. He is a bit shy, but warms up quickly to friendly strangers. He loves sitting on laps & getting pets!

Blue is the silvery blue girl. She is 13 years old & has no health issues. She is everyone's best friend & will follow her favorite person around the house.

These two cats are the perfect pair! You will have a sweet, gentle boy & a lively, fun girl. Please consider adopting these sweet cats. I promise that they will enrich your life.

Both cats will come with food, dishes, cat litter, & two litter boxes (one is automatic)

Additional adoption info

The first step to meet or adopt any of our animals is to fill out a no-commitment application online. This is normally followed up with a meeting between your family and the animal, and a home visit. Adoption fees range from $75 to $300. Please visit our website (TarasDream.org) for more information about our adoptable pet including bios, more photos, and each pet's adoption fee. If an animal is not listed on our website, they are no longer available for adoption.

More about this rescue

A non-profit 501C3, all volunteer group dedicated to helping homeless pets in the Greater Kansas City area. Our organization is the result of an alliance between several rescuers in the Kansas City region who share the same goal of ending animal suffering and homelessness.

Although we are foster home based, we also lease several kennels at a local boarding facility. Although this little "shelter" is allowing us to save many more lives, it is an added expense which is why we rely so heavily on generous donations from caring people in the community.

In addition to rescuing pets from difficult situations, we offer courtesy listings in Pet Finder, facilitate low-cost spays and neuterings, work on transfers and transports with existing rescue groups, help individuals and organizations promote, screen and educate potential adopters, fund raise to help pets with special needs, offer guidance and information about animal rescue, organize events, etc.
