Vanilla Bean (Bean for short) is looking for a permanent home, preferably indoors. He is the sweetest male rabbit. He was living outside in Algiers Point here in New Orleans for a long time until he was finally caught. He was very nervous around people and other pets at first, but every day he grows more and more comfortable. He loves kids, cats, and dogs. We have noticed that he is nervous when meeting new people, but once he gets to know you he is an absolute love. He enjoys healthy treats and lots of pets. His foster family will bring him to the shelter if you want to meet him, or you can make arrangements to come meet him at his foster family's house. Please contact foster@laspca.org for more information!

The LA/SPCA pet adoption process includes meeting with a matchmaker to match your lifestyle with the perfect companion. You will spend time with any of the pets you think would be a great companion. You may even want to come back another day to make sure he is the one! All of our animals must be spayed or neutered before you can take them home. Sometimes your perfect companion has not had this procedure done, so please be patient with us if you have to come back to pick him up.
All of our animals have been spayed or neutered before they are released for adoption. We encourage anyone with animals to spay or neuter their pets.
