Meet Tommy!
Tommy is an adorable eight-month-old mixed breed puppy with a black coat with white markings. He's not just cute-he's also super affectionate and loving. Tommy is ready to bond with his new family and shower them with love. Like all puppies, he will need training and guidance to grow into the best dog he can be, but with his eager-to-please nature, he's sure to become a wonderful companion. He is shy at first until he feels secure. He enjoys the company of other dogs. He is nervous meeting new people and is still learning to become more comfortable walking on a leash.
His fosters noted that he was a bit nervous at first but settled in once they crouched down with him and gave him a hard toy to chew. He does best with hard toys as he tends to chew through soft toys. He also likes his crate for a feeling of safety. He is very cuddly and friendly and wanted to play with the resident dog. His foster says that he "Loves running up the stairs, is very found of greek yogurt and peanut butter. Still is very scared of going on walks but we are continuing to work on that. He also runs up to me every time I come home." He is still getting used to walking on the leash. He is very sweet and gentle. Tommy will thrive best with an experienced dog person who will be able to work with him to become more relaxed and comfortable.
Tommy is neutered, vaccinated up to his age limit, microchipped, and has been given preventative treatments to ensure he is ready for his new family.
*Please note we do not hold animals for adoption*
