Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Online Adoption Application

Hi, I am Buckley, a sweet Yorkshire Terrier Mix. I am a male and I am approximately 1 year old, weighing in at 10 pounds. I have a very outgoing personality, and I love attention from my human. I am an energetic and playful pup. I came from a hoarding situation where I lived with many other dogs, so I get along great with others. I love to be in the yard and my foster mom says I can run as fast as a rabbit. I am not housebroken, but my foster mom says we are working on it. I am a young dog and just want to be loved. My ideal home would be one that has other dogs or kids because of my love for playing and socializing or with a new fur mom or dad that is looking for a full-time companion. I am up to date on all my required shots and I have been neutered, microchipped and dewormed. If you are looking for a fun, energetic pup, I am the one for you.

More about this rescue

About
Animal Advocates is a ffoster based rescue whose purpose is to secure animals from local high kill shelters, euthanasia lists, as well as intervening when an individual is no longer able to care for animals in their possession.

Mission
To save those we can, when we can, as often as we can...one paw, one hand, one voice.

Company Overview
We have no "kenneled" facility that houses our animals. We have dedicated fosters who incorporate these animals into their families. This dynamic allows us to fully evaluate the animals in a variety if settings to ready them for their forever homes.

Description
We educate the public regarding the importance of spay, neuter programs and provide low cost alternatives to basic veterinary care. Behavioral and nutritional information is also addressed...we always encourage to adopt..not shop. When possible we assist families by providing information that with effort will allow them to keep these gentle souls and retain their pets.

We have foster homes in Seminole, Orange, Volusia, Brevard, Lake and Osceola counties.

General Information
All of the animals available for adoption have been spayed/neutered and micro chipped, all have current vaccines including rabies (if old enough). They are maintained on both flea had heart worm preventative. Any medical as well as behavioral issues have been addressed and are fully disclosed before the time of adoption.
