Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Bio Bonjour! So pleased to make your acquaintance. You may address me Mademoiselle Sabrett, or simply Sabrett as my colleagues refer to me.
I am a lady: a well-mannered, gentle natured, fully trained in domestic etiquette, educated lady. I enjoy the finer things in life such as chicken pt, the smell of fresh linens (to lay in of course), and social outings with friends. Children are delightful and I do so like conversation with other canines from all backgrounds. Feline companions find me endearing, but I don't generally give them much attention as they are often too lazy or too inquisitive for my taste.
Tell us more about your life at home? Well of course! I am proud to be of a calm demeanor and do not rile easily. I would be happy in a quiet house with a guardian to give me meals on time and a chew or two throughout the day. I behave like an angel on car rides and trips to the store (naturally). I would never entertain the notion of soiling the interior of my domicile-I will alert my owner to my lavatory needs by heading for the door.
My body has aged with grace, but note that I have a bit of fluid built up behind the corneas in my eyes. I can still see though, so no need to fret over my personal navigation. It's a cosmetic uniqueness I liken to that of Sir David Bowie.
To maintain my utmost health, I should not be given beef products as they upset my digestive constitution. I would be quite thrilled if you would invest in a sloping ramp or set of shallow dog stairs so that I may rest with you upon the chaise lounge or your personal bed.
I would be glad to pencil a meet and greet with you into my schedule upon receipt of your completed adoption application. I am confident you will find my personality charming and my good looks appeal to all.
Here's a bio for Sabrett written by the Richmond Hill High School Creative Writing Club:
A Proper Duchess for Sabrett
Queen Sabrett sat atop her throne, draped in the finest cloak of a deep purple, only fit for such a noble canine. Her ears fell around her muzzle invoking the drapings of locks combed to perfection. Her eyes held the stars, dark with dancing sparks, striking and marking her the Queen of the realm. She straightened her posture as a feline strode in, his gait weighed by the heavy plates of gleaming silver armor along his back.
"Your majesty, he dropped to dip his head and bend his front legs. She nodded to him.
"Rise Sir Felix, I trust the tunafest went well? Queen Sabrett confirmed.
"Yes your majesty, was the reply. She smiled, wonderful, the cans had been quite a bit to order, but it seemed there feline subjects had all but frollicked at such a feast. She always did take care of her subjects-
"Mama! You're walking threw Queen Sabrett's Kingdom! Mary complained, setting down her cat as her ridiclious mother dared to tread across the living room that had become the lands of this most noble dog. Her mother chuckled and covered her mouth.
"Oh forgive me, she folded at the waist in a deep bow to Queen Sabrett who wagged her tail to ensure the intruder all was well. She shook her body, the purple blanket falling off. Mary giggled.
"C'mon Queen Sabrett! You can be a duchess next! She decided, tapping her thigh for the newly christened duchess to leap off the couch with ladylike elegance and follow her up the stairs to her new domain.
