Lucas has not had it easy. Found stray, he wound up at a high kill Los Angeles shelter where he was next up on the euthanasia list.
Concerned Citizens Animal Rescue, stepped in and got Lucas to safety!
He's about 2 years old.
Best guess: Husky/ Pittie mix
He's a big puppy teddy bear at 60 lbs.

Lucas is an absolute joy to have around. He’s playful, obedient, gentle and patient. He loves going for walks/runs, belly rubs and playing fetch (he has the most adorable reindeer hop). He makes for the best companion - always by your side or at least within view. He’s great with adults, teenagers and dogs of all sizes. He’s an absolute sweetheart. You can tell he just wants to love and be loved in return. Lucas is Up to Date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.
He's also received profession training at a local board and train program. Lucas knows basic commands and his trainer has offered a refresher session to anyone who adopts him.. Upon Adoption, Lucas will receive 30 days follow up support. He also comes with his supplies and a gigantic heart full of love for all!
He's potty trained and good on leash.
Large breeds are having such a hard time finding homes recently- please consider giving this cuddle bug a chance.
