Poseidon is a 13-week-old male puppy and true to his name, has a natural affinity for water! Watering with the garden hose…. He will catch that spray for you! Have a puddle, he will lay in it and cool down! Sprinklers in the back yard…. Best way to wash your face! Have a pool? This pup is ready for swimming lessons!

He is also alert and brave and likes to patrol the back yard checking for any new smells in the bushes and provide back up if his foster brother hears noises too close to the house. He is confident and wants to speak up and let others know he is there to protect the home too.

At the same time, Poseidon is as gentle as they come. He’s a calm and affectionate pup who loves to be around people. His soft, soulful eyes are always seeking out affection, and he’s happiest when he’s close to his humans, soaking up all the love and attention he can get. He still has tiny sharp puppy teeth, but you would never know it unless you were just admiring his smile!

Poseidon is still a young pup, so he’s in the process of learning the basics. His gentle nature makes him a quick learner, especially when positive reinforcement is involved. He’s already making great strides in his potty training and crate training, and with a little patience and consistency, he’ll be a well-behaved member of the family in no time.

Poseidon would thrive in a with a family who enjoys spending time outdoors. Because he’s so gentle, Poseidon would be a great fit for families with children or other pets. He’s also content to relax and cuddle, so a quieter home would suit him just fine as well.
