My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Monet and siblings were found as tiny kittens and needed to be bottle fed. She is your easy-going, quiet, kitten-active orange tabby born in March 2024. She plays with interactive toys as well as by herself with toys. Monet will let you place her in your lap and stay for short sessions of brushing and petting. By trusted people she likes being held in baby fashion. Fancy is affectionate on her terms. She is friendly with trusted folks, shy around strangers, and hasn’t met kids. But if kids are kind and gentle, she should do well. Monet likes most cats and tolerates most dogs, She has great litterbox habits and uses a scratching post.

This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com

If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored).

More about this rescue

We are a small group of volunteers who have been in cat rescue for over 30 years. Volunteers have full time jobs. We do not have a website. Rather we are on Adopt-a-pet, Facebook, PetFinder, and in community newspapers. Interested in more information about a cat? Please be patient, we will return your call. CTR is a 501 c3 non-profit.

We would welcome new volunteer foster homes. All medical costs for foster cats are covered by donations to CTR. As we get enough funding, we supply cat food. We do not hold adoption days.
