Meet Maggie!

This adorable little girl is the biggest sweetheart! She has a high pitched chirping meow that is to die for, and she loves being pet. Maggie is a little too curious though - she was surrendered to the rescue for having to need TWO surgeries for eating pacifiers. So since Maggie can get herself into some trouble, she does need an experienced cat owner who may not have little ones leaving their binkies around.

Maggie is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, given flea/tick prevention, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV. She is also fully recovered from her most recent surgery.

Maggie is currently house at our Cat Adoption Center in PetSmart in Northeast Philadelphia (7422 Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19152).

Out of the Woods Rescue will check a veterinary reference, as well as two personal nonfamily references

An adoption appointment will be made, where you will receive copies of medical paperwork and the adoption contract

Pets are available to take home the day of the adoption meet

Out of the Woods Rescue was established in 2018 by a group of veterinary professionals and animal caregivers. Our strong medical background helps us fulfill our goal of taking in and rehoming neglected and abandoned animals, especially those dealing with illness. The Rescue team has more than ten years of experience with animal medicine and welfare. This background allows us to care for animals who are ill and may otherwise be facing euthanasia. In addition to helping sick and senior pets, Out of the Woods Rescue also partners with Southern Puppy Rescue bringing abandoned puppies from the South to new homes in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey areas.
