My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"A dog will teach you unconditional love." This reminds us of our dear Brandi.

Why we love her: Brandi is all about love and is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever met!

To paraphrase a line in a song: "Brandi, you're a fine dog, what a good girl you will be in your new home." She is one year old, weighs 50 pounds, and is a great choice if you want to adopt a medium sized dog.

Our golden girl Brandi is such a sweetheart and has a gentle, bouncy, good natured personality. She is always ready to accompany you on a walk and is a fun companion. We enjoy her company so much!

Brandi also looks forward to her outings in the fenced yard, where she loves to run and play. Once she is done, Brandi will hang out with you to be petted and loved on. She is a wonderful cuddle buddy! Belly rubs are one of her favorite things.

She has had a great time in play groups with her fellow shelter companions. If you have another dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility.

Brandi has the gentlest of souls and the tenderest of hearts and will be such a devoted companion.

She is a bright dog who wants to please and should master any commands you wish to teach her.

Brandi recently attended an offsite event and was a perfect representative for our shelter. She charmed everyone she met!

Brandi was a wonderful, devoted mother to her precious puppies. All of them have been adopted, and now it's Brandi's turn to have a family to love and care for her. She will be such a fun, loving and loyal companion!

Brandi will be the perfect dog to be by your side during the day and to curl up at your feet at night.

More about this shelter

Cheatham County Animal Control is committed to finding good homes for the animals that come into the shelter system. We work with rescues and adopters. We are a no kill shelter but we rely on people coming in to adopt!

All of our cats/dogs receive vaccinations that are appropriate for the age and health when they are at animal control. We also spay and neuter all of our animals. The adopter is responsible for all vaccinations and medical care after adoption.
