Need something strong, smooth and consistent in your life? Whiskey might be just what you are thirsty for! I’m a 1 year old Husky mix with zest for life. But not too much zest. Juuuuust the right amount. For my age and suspected breed(s) I’m a medium energy level.

I love being outdoors. Whether it’s rolling around in the grass or going for binge walks. I am a lover and I’m not afraid to show it, I will give you plenty of hugs and kisses if you have the tolerance for it. I tend to be trusting and will quickly roll over and show you my belly, as I do enjoy a good scratch! My fosters say I’m very smart. When I was rescued I already knew a few commands like “sit” “paw” and even “wait.” and they are working with me everyday, teaching me “leave it” and “let’s go.” They said I’m a fast learner and I’m making great pawgress.

I do love to chew, as I am a still considered puppy-ish, but I will be fine if you have lots of bones and chew toys for me. I love all humans, but because I am still in the puppy phase with my BIG chewing, it's better not to have very young kids around me. I love everyone though, you will see! I’m not too much of a barker, but certainly no wallflower either. Sometimes I cry a little because I do love attention and feel left out if I’m not in on all the action. My foster pawents take me to lots of places in the car. They say I might not have a lot of prior car experience, as appawently I’m still getting my sea legs and adjusting to the ride. But I’m curious about the outside and love to look out the window in awe at the world around me.

I think I would be a perfect fit for any medium active to active and/or outdoorsy family or hooman. I’m a working dog by 'breed' so a family that can give me structure, leadership and mental stimulation would be a perfect mixer. So far I have been friendly with other dogs and I wag my tail whenever I see the little kittens that my foster parents have. I also greeted my foster pawents cat with a gentle, friendly nose bump. I know I can be a perfect companion, if someone would just give me a shot. How do you take your Whiskey?
