This helps Town and Country Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
Rosie is a 8 year old female mix but don't let her hear you call her a middle aged woman. Rosie identifies as an Olympic athlete in training. She is reluctantly appreciative of healthier food and portion control in order to meet that goal. She will always choose the longer, hillier route in our walks. She came to us with bladder stones, but thankfully, those stones were removed and she is learning she can trust her bladder again.
Rosie has done well with other dogs in our playgroups but wouldn't mind if she had all your attention to herself. She really appreciates human contact, love and attention. She would love to live out her best life in a compassionate home. If that is your home come out and meet her.
The adoption fee is $200 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.
Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission. If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee. It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member.
*****We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel. If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com. Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal. If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home. The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster. If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit.
Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Humane Society and our mission.
