My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stag is a smart boy looking for his fur ever home. He is around 5 years old.
He does well with his house training. He may need some work on his leash
training. He is up to date on his vaccines and been neutered. Stag had
a hurt leg when he first came to us and he had FHO surgery in June of
this year. He has recovered and is doing great. He was recently released
from our vet and is ready for adoption. He does not do well with most
other dogs, so a home with no other pets will be the best for him. Call us
today about Stag!

More about this rescue

Established in 2005, The Animal Advocates is a non-profit auxiliary organization that supports the animals of Barnwell County and the Barnwell County Shelter.

Mission: Our mission is to provide care and shelter for stray, abandoned and abused cats and dogs in our community; to place these animals in stable and loving permanent homes; to promote and provide spay/neuter surgeries to reduce the animal population; and, to make the public aware and educate the community on the proper care and treatment of all animals.

General Information Our Friend for Life Center is strictly provided to help the animals of Barnwell County. The Animal Advocates pull adoptable animals from the Barnwell County Animal Shelter that would otherwise be euthanized. It is our policy that we cannot accept animals from the public.
