My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Sepia
Nicknames Sleepy Seepy, Eepia
Age: 7 years old
Hobbies: Playing, Smiling, Going for walks, Living life to the fullest
Preferences: Im good with kids, I am very picky with my dog friends, and have to be cat tested
Reason for being at BCHS: Invert and I were abandoned in our home

Sepia is a beautiful soul caught in the bittersweet chapter of her life, searching for a soft place to land—a warm, quiet home where she can spend her golden years feeling safe and loved.

At seven years old, Sepia still carries the echoes of puppyhood in her heart, but time has gently started to slow her down. She tries her best to be the playful, happy girl she’s always been, but sometimes, the weight of waiting gets heavy. Still, she greets each day with hope, her tail wagging, her goofy grin unwavering—because that’s who she is. A dog who loves, no matter what.

She adores people, especially kids, and dreams of a family that will cherish her as much as she cherishes them. With other dogs, she can be a bit picky, not out of malice but simply because she knows what she likes. If there’s another pup in the home, a proper introduction will be key to making sure everyone feels comfortable.

Sepia is ready to trade the cold shelter floors for a cozy bed, the lonely nights for the warmth of a kind hand. She’s waiting for someone to see her, to choose her, to promise that she won’t have to wait anymore. Could that person be you?
