Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Just like his namesake fabric, Suede is irresistibly smooth with his glossy black fur and two secret white patches on his belly. His striking gold eyes add a touch of luxury to this snuggly package, but it's his cuddles that truly set him apart. He’s always nearby, ready to give you nose-to-nose kisses and be your cozy companion
And if you’re looking for a personal space heater, he’s got you covered—literally! Suede loves to lounge on your chest while you watch TV or curl up in the crook of your neck at bedtime, making him the ultimate neck wrap with a heart of gold.
When he’s not in cuddle mode, Suede shows off his playful side. After dinner, he gets a burst of energy, sprinting down the hallway like he’s training for the Kitty Olympics! He loves chasing dangle toys, and when he catches one, he’ll go into “hunter mode,” complete with the cutest little kitten growls.
Suede is always curious and wants to be involved in everything—whether you’re heading to the bathroom or doing chores, expect him to be right there with you, waiting for the next adventure. If you’re looking for a cat as smooth and comforting as his name suggests, Suede is ready to wrap himself around your heart and make your home his favorite snuggle spot! Suede was born January, 2024.
If you live in Chicago and are interested in learning more about Suede, please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com and Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com. Please tell us a bit about your situation, what you are looking for, the composition of your current household (the other humans and/or pets who already live there). Inquires with these questions answered are responded to promptly.
We are always in need of foster homes. If you are not able to adopt, but are interested in fostering or know someone who might be, we would love to hear from you! Please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com or Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com to learn more. Photos by Brenda Stewart
