Olympian is a 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier x Maltese mix who is ready to win gold with her forever family! This lovely gal came to us with her newborn puppies in June and we promised to find her the perfect forever family. Now that her babies have grown big and strong, she is ready to find a forever home of her very own. Olympian has a gorgeous scruffy coat and a tail that never stops wagging. She weighs around 10 pounds which makes her the perfect size for non-stop adventures and love with her forever family. Are you ready for your happily ever after with the most adorable gal around? Bring home our gold medal winning Olympian!

Olympian is a fabulously attentive and loving gal with a heart as gold as the medals she won at the Olympics! We can’t believe anyone could have ever left this girl behind, as she is so good-natured, well-behaved, and full of love to shower her people in. Olympian just wants to show you how much love she has in her heart. She wags her entire body when there is even a small chance of someone giving her affection. She loves treats like any dog, but her love language is physical touch. A pet or a little scratch on the side of her head is all she needs to know she is loved. She is an utter joy, spending her days with the people she loves most. Olympian loves a cuddle on the couch and a play session with her plush toys. She has bloomed beautifully in her foster home and they have had nothing but fabulous things to say about her. That’s a huge compliment considering they are such long time and amazing members of our fostering team. With such a ringing endorsement, we know her forever family will be the luckiest people in the entire world!

Olympian starts her day at 6:30 AM with a big stretch and a cuddle on the couch. Once she finishes her dog yoga routine, she hops into the yard for a morning potty. She gets her breakfast around 7 AM and then spends her morning lounging in the yard exploring the world around her. She loves to hang out with her people while they work, so she is frequently found near the office on one of her soft beds. In the afternoon, she sleeps through the heat of the day before she wakes up for some playtime. She loves her soft toys and will create a stockpile of lamb chops for when she is ready for adventure. She gets a walk around the neighborhood in the evening before dinner at 6. In the evening, she cuddles on the couch before she heads to bed.

Olympian gets along with dogs of all ages and sizes. She loves people as long as they give her the chance to get comfortable before showing her all the love. This amazing gal is fully housetrained and she walks fabulously on the leash. She’s a total dream. Olympian loves hanging out in the yard, lounging on the patio and sniffing her surroundings. If you’re looking for a buddy to explore the world with, or just the couch, bring home our gold medal Olympian today!

Olympian is an option for those who have owned a dog in the past, even if that experience is less recent. Kids in the home should be over the age of 9.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
