My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A volunteer writes: We meet this little mama in the small dog adoptions room, where 55lbs of her hops to her feet and tippy-taps in anticipation of a walk. Penelope's face is utter perfections. Oversized, boxy, and jowly, all in the ideal dimensions. I am not sure how she pulls it off but she looks simultaneously silly and serious. We give her baguette toy, which she is happy to have. But overall she seems to prefer spending her time with us. She peaks her cuteness levels by head tilting at a squeaky toy, behavior usually reserved for younger dogs. She closes her mouth into a gigantic pout, and tilts curiously at me.

Penelope came in with police as a stray, with cuts on hear ears and face. She could use some TLC, but is undeniably adorable even now. She is available to a beginner home, but has not appreciated being near dogs at the shelter, so she should be an only.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.

I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.

I am playful and cute!

I will need appropriate toys and positive outlets for my energy.

I am really treat motivated. You can use treats to teach me new things!
