Poppie aka Poppy is this beautiful girls name, she has been in Wisconsin for a week now. She is right around 6 months young. The best words to describe her would be sweet, mild mannered and playful. She enjoys other dogs and is fostered with a smaller puppy. She is very attentive to people and is always looking to her humans for direction and approval and of course lots of love! She will sit and look up and gently place a paw on you. She is great with kids 8 years of age and up. She has been introduced to smaller children a few times and as of now needs some work on manners to interact appropriately with them. She is doing great with potty training and goes in a kennel nicely during the day if need be and at night. She walks nicely on a leash and for the most part is good with our three cats, she will only bark at them if they are taunting her to play! She has been such a fun pup to have in our home and she will truly be a wonderful pet for a lucky family! If interested in this sweet girl an online application can be found at SandiPaws.org Thank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org for more information on our organization or to fill out an application to adopt one of our pets. You can find information for volunteering on our site as well.

Additional adoption info
See our adoption process at www.sandipaws.org/adoption
A successful adoption depends on the selection of the right pet for your household and your understanding of your responsibility of adopting a rescued animal. Our adoption procedures have been designed to make sure all rescued Sandi Paws pets are placed in an appropriate, loving forever home, and to make sure all adopters find the right fit for their family. Prior to adoption, all dogs and cats will be given all age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies, kennel cough, parvo and distemper, spaying/neutering, intestinal deworming, heartworm testing/treatment, microchipping, and monthly heartworm medication and flea prevention.
Note: We will adopt pets outside of Wisconsin if we can do necessary background and reference checks and the adopters agree to provide necessary follow up information. Also, the adopting family must agree to travel to pick up the pet and agree to transport them back to Wisconsin if they need to be returned at any time.
