My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leia is a beautiful 3-year-old girl solid grey lady! She is a super sweet lovie and is looking for a home with a warm lap to cuddle. While she gets along with the other cats at the shelter, in a home environment she takes some time to learn to get along with her housemates. She will need a slow, proper introduction to any pets in the home.

The adoption fee is $125 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.

Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission. If you have other cats in your home, they must all be up to date and spayed/neutered prior to application submission. All members of the family must meet the pet.

Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out. But we will coach you on alternative methods of managing cats with claws.

More about this rescue

We are a no kill shelter operating in Sarpy County, Nebraska, a suburb of Omaha. We re-home dogs, cats and small critters. We work with dogs that are typically on "death row" and take in dogs from kill shelters in KS, TX, MO and elsewhere, as needed. Our cats usually come from kill shelters with an occasional owner surrender under special circumstances. Critters are found a variety of ways.

We also provide boarding and grooming services at very reasonable rates.
